Thomas N. Trembath
	Southern Operations Manager
	Tom, who joined Forest Investment Associates in 1993, is responsible for timberland management on client properties in the Southern U.S., including the management of the Jackson, Mississippi office and staff.  Prior to assuming his current position in 2004, Tom worked as a Management Forester and Region Manager.  He was also previously employed for six years by Stone Container Corporation in South and Central Georgia where he held a position in woodlands management and was responsible for 95,000 acres in the company’s Landowner Assistance Program. Tom also was employed at Clemson University where he worked on the University’s 17,500-acre experimental forest. In addition, he was a Supervisory Technician with the U.S.D.A. Forest Service, overseeing all aspects of forest management. Tom holds a B.S. in Forestry from Michigan State University and an M.S. in Forestry from Clemson University. He is a Registered Forester, a Certified Forester® and a member of the Society of American Foresters.
