Environmental Policy
	Forest Investment Associates (FIA) promotes and practices sustainable forestry and high environmental standards for stewardship of lands we manage. We believe it is our responsibility to maintain the long-term viability of the forest while managing our clients' timberlands for competitive financial returns. We use environmentally sensitive forest conservation practices and silvicultural techniques that enhance timber production while conserving soil, water and wildlife. Our forest management operations meet or exceed the voluntary Best Management Practices of each state. Wisconsin's Wild Rivers Legacy Forest is a shining example of our Environmental Policy and forest conservation practices at work. FIA is a leader in promoting and practicing sustainable forestry and has developed and implemented a proprietary Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure conformance with its environmental standards and policies. FIA’s EMS is "… part of the overall management system that includes organizational structure, planning activities, responsibilities, practices, procedures, processes and resources for developing, implementing, achieving, reviewing and maintaining the [FIA’s] environmental policy.
