Juan Pablo Lankenau
In his capacity as an authorized representative of Forest Investment Associates (FIA), Juan Pablo Lankenau aligned with FIA in 2015 as an Assistant Director. As a member of FIA’s International Team, Juan Pablo is responsible for FIA´s expansion into timberland markets in Latin America. Before FIA, he was Vice President of Development for Grupo Topaz, a diversified Mexican private investment group with strategies in real estate, education and energy. Juan Pablo was responsible for Topaz´s real estate platform, including land acquisition, urban planning, real estate development and operations. Prior to Topaz, he worked for Global Forest Partners with full managerial responsibility for three timber funds with pine and eucalyptus assets in Uruguay and New Zealand. Born in Mexico, he has extensive experience in South and North America as well as Europe and the Middle East.
Juan Pablo holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
